I don't think any of us will trip on walnuts this year. Can't wait to try it out.
The medium sized roller worked better than anticipated! It felt like I was mopping shotgun shells on both grass & concrete.
My only gripe is that the bucket attachment does not have a way to fasten to the bucket. I have to use it slowly otherwise it falls off of bucket.
For the pecans in Austin Tx and especially if you have St Augustine grass, this size Nut Wizard is the only thing you need and it works GREAT!
After years of raking chestnut burrs and getting poked to the point of bleeding, I bought this tool. I am so happy I did! I spent 1/2 the time I usually spend raking and I didn’t get poked once.
Got this as a gift for my parents for picking up Black Walnuts, and they love it! It makes the job so easy and is so well designed to last. Highly recommend!
Replacement handle is sturdy, wish there was a good fix for having to twist it to tighten. Original one kept coming loose and even a lock nit won’t keep it tight.
There are more hickory nuts than I could manage by hand this year, so this works so well in saving time and my back. I obsessed over similar items and the Nut Wizard, which comes with the dumping tool (that others do not), is perfect in its simplicity. Arrived quickly and packaged carefully. Best home purchase of the year.
2 weeks ago I sent the unopened order back. It became apparent to me that the amount/depth of acorns from my 51 ye old Oak Tree, would b too much for the NW to pick up. Even with the 16 Hp Shop Vac I got, it took lots of manual pushing/digging w/the nozzle to get acorns up out of grass that had been walked on.
The Nut Wizard does a great job! Had to revert to manually emptying into the bucket. The side bracket that was provided kept slipping off and actually slowing me down.
Always buy the aluminum handle version. It's also adjustable. The unloader is a must have. I pick up around a 100 pecan trees with Nut Wizards.
Easy to use and does a great job of picking up everything! Just make sure that you get the right size.
Great little back saver. Picks up all my shells including .22s without a skip. Must say that this Mini Brass Mower is a high quality product. Heavy duty and very well made. This little mower will last me many many years. I’m sure that all sizes are made equally as well
Would like to know you received my return. I opted to buy a shop vac to vacumn up the million acorns from my Oak Tree; my back isn't good enf to stoop over for as long as the Nut Wizard would require to bet up 1Mil acorns.
A real lifesaver. This was the worst Mast year we have seen in the past 22 years. We have 2 hickory trees, and their nuts completely carpeted our backyard. This product literally saved our lives.
Picking up the local black walnuts was as easy as rolling over them using my Large Nut Wizard. One or two handed, whichever you choose works easy. I transferred nuts to round 5gal or square buckets, using the included apparatus or my hand. By far the best of several options I have tried. I harvested and put into containers about 35 gallons (7 buckets) in about 35 minutes. Maybe using a larger diameter container would make it as easy as the pickup is, & even quicker. Your next offering could be a dehuller that works as simply. I would recommend
Nut Wizard Unloader makes picking up black walnuts soo much easier. Take a 5 gallon bucket, drill holes in the outside flange, fit the nut wizard in the holes over the edge of the bucket. Done.Great Item
The previous unloader that I assume came from you when I purchased a roller was more pointed at the top. The rounded one is hard to use and does not work with the small roller.
Love this!!! Makes collecting black walnuts easy!!
Collected what we wanted to process
Then put unloader-on a bucket with no bottom to get rest off yards and left under the trees
I was a bit skeptical when i saw this product and searched multiple sites including amazon. I decided to go with the Nut Wizard based on the reviews and the fact it is made here in the USA. When the package was received I was missing a couple pieces, i was really bummed since i wanted to use it that weekend. I called customer support and rectified the missing parts and they showed up a couple days later. In the mean time i took the cage with me to my property where i seem to have Mast years every other year. even without all the parts, I ran the cage in my hands and was amazed with such little effort i was able to collect five cage full of loads in less than 10 minutes! I cant wait to use it in its fully assembled state next time i'm at the property. I will be buying the larger version next year for the pine cones!
